About the film

'Healing Nation' is an intimate look at the healing journey that a few Indigenous families have taken as they navigate the repercussions of being taken from their families or having children or family members who were taken in the name of government policy.

It was filmed on stolen Ts'msyen Territory as well as stolen xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Territory.
